Installing Elasticsearch 2.4

Problem: Elasticsearch 2.4 on vm.

Solution:
Pretty straight foward if you following the instructions on the Elasticsearch site.

1. Setup a new box.

$ vagrant init ubuntu/trusty64
$ vagrant up
$ vagrant ssh

2. Download java.
http://docs.oracle.com/javase/8/docs/technotes/guides/install/linux_jdk.html#BJFJJEFG

3. Install java.
As per instructions below.
http://www.wikihow.com/Install-Oracle-Java-JDK-on-Ubuntu-Linux

Once you have java running on your vm.

$ java -version
java version "1.8.0_121"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_121-b13)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.121-b13, mixed mode)

4. Install Elasticsearch.
As per guide below.

$ ./elasticsearch
